A Spotlight on our Markets
Here at DrayNow, we are operating in 6 different markets all around the country. From Chicago to Los Angeles, we have an intermodal marketplace for carriers to access and pick up loads.
In 2017, we opened up our first market in Chicago. It’s our most established market with loads typically coming out of all local BNSF, UP, NS, CSX and CP ramps. Using our app, you can see loads coming from other terminals across the area.
Commonly known as an air travel hub, the Atlanta intermodal market is actually growing as well. We haul from rail yards such as NS Inman & Austell, as well as CSX Fairburn, and Atlanta is close to both Tennessee and Alabama so drayage can go out there too.
LA is a transportation hub that has a vast network of railways that can be used for intermodal hauling. The area is also home to a lot of manufacturing centers, so there’s plenty of loads to deliver coming out of Long Beach, City of Industry and East Los Angeles.
You may not associate Texas with rail transportation, but Dallas is an emerging intermodal market that’s home to several major distribution centers. Loads typically come out of BSNF – Alliance and UP Mesquite.
With rail yards stationed right outside of the largest city in the country, our North Jersey market presents an interesting opportunity to haul within the PA/NJ/NY tri-state area and even all the way up to Massachusetts. Loads here primarily come out of CSX South Kearny & North Bergen, as well as NS E-Rail & Croxton.
Our newest market, Memphis, is also known as the logistics hub of America, and we are excited for the opportunity to keep growing here. Conveniently located on the Mississippi River, carriers from many states in the Southeast can pick up intermodal loads from the area.
